June 2017

  • JUNE 4-5, 2017:  First Responders Appreciation

Make goodie bags and take to local fire stations and 911 communications offices. No age limit. Groups will meet Sunday afternoon to pack the appreciation bags and will deliver a portion of them to various locations when packing is complete. Monday's group will meet at Pinedale at 6:45 pm and travel to Griffith Volunteer Fire Department to spend some time there. Should return to Pinedale no later than 8:00 pm. Sign-up here to work.

  • JUNE 13, 2017:  "LIB" Crash The Dash with Big Brothers/Big Sisters (Taking kids to the ballgame.) This project is full.
  • JUNE 29-JULY 1, 2017:  Work Weekend at Mid-Atlantic Christian University.

The team will leave Pinedale after work on Thursday, June 29th to work on campus all day Friday and again on Saturday morning before returning to Pinedale Saturday afternoon. The team will stay in dorms on Thursday and Friday, have breakfast and lunch on campus and go out for evening meals. Some of the projects will include painting doors, power washing, window cleaning, painting columns, various housekeeping details, etc. Participants will need to pay $20 for meals at the dorms and bring money to eat while traveling and for evening meals. There will be a brief informational meeting on Sunday, June 4th, immediately following second service in Room 200. Sign-up here to work.

July 2017

  • JULY 18, 23 AND 29, 2017:  Ronald McDonald House Meal Preparation

Volunteers will help assist with cooking and meal preparation for dinner. Volunteers 13-16 years old require a parent/guardian. Those older than 16 do not require parental supervision.

August 2017

  • Old Town Elementary School

Assisting teachers with their classrooms before school begins in the Fall, landscaping and painting.

September 2017

  • Prep for "Leave It Better" Sunday, October 8th

 

October 2017
